About the Baker

Stonybrook Kitchen is a dream born from Adrienne’s passion for baking which she honed at an early age.

As a small child Adrienne baked by the side of her mother, who, from the age of thirteen, was an avid baker. Adrienne spend a lot of her childhood alongside her mother in the kitchen watching and helping. One of Adrienne’s fondest childhood memories was making overnight yeasted cinnamon rolls and Mexican sweet buns for the family with her younger brother. 

In 2021 Adrienne worked to perfect a winning sourdough recipe and her passion blossomed. She thought, “How can I bake and bring it to all others to enjoy? Something freshly baked and made to order!”

As she casually started sharing her hand crafted creations with friends, family, and coworkers the positive response Increasing demand for her breads lead her to start a cottage kitchen business.  As a cottage food business and a micro-bakery she could share her wholesome sourdough items with the local community.  Her purchase of a Simply Bread oven has made this dream move to fruition.

Today, in the heart of Ojai, her micro-bakery produces several different varieties of artisan sourdough bread loaves. Its products also include English Muffins and a variety of fruit empanadas that all use her healthful sourdough.  Adrienne’s dream is to continue to grow and create goods. Joy is knowing her customers are smiling and enjoying something delicious on their table or even at a family picnic.
